This is the second busiest airport in New Zealand’s North Island and serves the country’s capital city. Most of the ongoing improvements to the terminal facilities are always scheduled for completion this year.

Wellington International Airport has managed to construct an information Centre in the baggage claim area. The airport flyer Express bus usually runs every ten minutes from the airport to the famous wellington train station and back during the peak hours mostly during the week. The usual journey time to the central of wellington is approximately 25 minute and the fare is usually NZ $ 8.The shuttle bus company including the famous super shuttle always provide shared-ride services to the central wellington form outside arrivals, the fare to central wellington using a shuttle usually decreases with the number of passengers in the shuttle. Wellington airport transfer is considered an option as well.

The ATMs, banking facilities and the amazing foreign exchange kiosks are located in the terminal building. For communication Inside the Airport, postal services are usually available at Travelex on level 1 of the terminal and stamps can be purchased form there.

Wellington airport conference Centre is an amazing place to hold meeting in while at the airport. It offers a good number of meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 100 persons per meeting. The disabled facilities are an added advantage to the disabled people visiting the airport. There is a dedicated car parking spaces and car lifts which are specially made available for the disable people. There are lifts available at all levels for the disable people and also a good number of adapted toilets and staff to offer special assistance, wheel chairs are also available.
